EDS celebrates it Commencement ceremony today, as they confer 21 degrees including nine Master of Divinity, one Master of Arts in Theological Studies, seven Doctor of Ministry, and four Certificates of Advanced Theological Study.    

 

EDS is pleased to also confer honorary degrees on four individuals with distinguished and faithful ministries in social justice: Canon Gregory Cameron, Ms. Catherine Hoffman, The Rt. Rev. James Kelsey, and The Most Rev. Njongonkulu Winston Hugh Ndungane.The Commencement address is being delivered by The Most Rev. Njongonkulu Winston Hugh Ndungane, Archbishop of Cape Town and Metropolitan of the Church of the Province of Southern Africa.

Sorry for the delay today...

 

Five years ago today we were just coming out of Chapel when we heard the news about the tragedy of 9/11. This event impacted many in our EDS family personally and its emotional scars still remain.

Please join me in praying for all those who not only lost their lives, but also for those who are still grieving. Together let us ask God to help us in the struggle for justice so that peace may replace fear and prevent this from ever happening again.

We have been noticing that some of the meditations have become scrambled at the end of the meditations.  This could be a result of a couple issues, however, one quick solution may be to allow the meditation to buffer before immediately playing the piece.  Some "sped-up" audio may be a result of the file playing faster than it is buffering.  We, at EDS, are continuing to work on delivering clear meditations that all can enjoy.
